Cook Islands

The Cook Islands are made up of 15 islands, spread over an area of half a million square miles of ocean.

We visited Aitutaki from the Southern Cook Islands with the friendliest people on planet earth and the most beautiful lagoon witch I ever seen in my live. On this island you can say, the more remote the island the more enthusiastic the welcome. Aitutaki's marvellous lagoon has 21 uninhabited motu (small islands) with lovely white beaches and brilliant, turquoise water.

Palmerston Islands is an island with their own strict rules for everybody. On this island you are welcome if you bring them a lot of presents and if you do what they want you to do.

Aitutaki's underwaterworld is dead, because of chemical contamination.

Palmerston Atoll is 200 nm away from Aitutaki with corals in perfect condition.
